Mission Statement
The mission of Transformation Jackson is to Transform the Jackson, MS Metro Area by:
- Galvanizing the church to develop and demonstrate a genuine concern for the people of the Jackson area.
- Evaluating the needs of the people and the community, notifying the church of those needs, and, where necessary, equipping church members to meet those needs.
- Serving as a clearinghouse of information on Christian ministries, so people may find a place to serve or a mission to support.
- Providing funding and leadership to facilitate the creation of new ministries and organizations where needed.
- Providing strategic planning and other support for projects involving multiple ministries.

- Metroa Jackson Area - the tri-county area, but with particular emphasis on the city of Jackson
- Galvanize - To arouse to awareness or action; spur
- Church - all true Christians, regardless of denomination
- Develop and demonstrate - gain understanding and act on that understanding
- Genuine concern - true compassion, not guilt-driven outward acts
- The people and the community - the residents, the families, the institutions, the economy, the government
- Equipping - training, providing materials, or otherwise preparing for action
- Clearinghouse - a collection of information made available to others, whereby people can learn about current ministries, and where ministries can make known their immediate and long-term needs
- Christian ministries - organizations which are founded explicitly on the teachings of the Bible and which act consistently and biblically in the name and spirit of Christ
- New ministries and organizations where needed - biblically-based organizations to fill gaps identified by the evaluation process of Transformation Jackson

- Low overhead by employing current technology.
- Good deeds produce good will, which opens the door to the Good News.
